Rogers Publishing Case Study


Rogers Consumer Marketing Group ('Rogers') approached Geyser Marketing Group ('Geyser') in 2009 as they were looking for an agency to supplement and support their Partnership Marketing programs for their leading magazine brands including Chatelaine, Today’s Parent, Flare, LOU LOU and Sportsnet magazine.


The team at Geyser worked with Rogers to identify well-aligned retail partners to position their publications as a ‘gift with purchase’ for qualifying customers. Geyser would lead all negotiations and support Rogers on managing the relationships and optimizing the programs.


Geyser has built successful and innovate Marketing Partnerships between Rogers brands and retailers like Canadian Tire, Roots, Danier Leather, Winners as well as consumer packaged goods brands like Post cereal. These programs have produced tens of thousands of new magazine subscribers and have become a leading and innovative channel for subscriber acquisition for their magazine brands.
